Please help yourself to food and drink, or do laundry whenever you need to. We also thought you might not want to leave your holiday sun-burned and mosquito bitten, so you'll also find bug spray and sunscreen in your bathroom.

We request that you not use the coffee machine until we've taken you through how it works and place things back where you found them.

Please don't be precious with the AC . It's hot. We know that. Use it as needed.

In summer, we ask that AC in the bedrooms remains on during the day as it helps to cool the common areas. Please also keep doors to bathrooms open when the bathroom is not in use to allow for the AC to cool and dry them to prevent mould.

The Pool

Feel free to use our lovely pool whenever you'd like! just a few pointers:

1 / No glass or ceramic

You'll find plastic pool-safe glasses in the kitchen with the other glasses and stubbies in the bottom drawer under the coffee machine.

2 / Pool stuff

You'll find pool towels in the linen cupboard next to the bathroom. You'll find pool toys/accessories under the stairs. There's also an outdoor chess set towel in the linen cupboard.

3 / When you're done

When you're finished with the pool, please pop the toys/furniture where you found them and place any used/wet towels in the hamper in the laundry.

Safety Stuff

Water

The water is an incredible, amazing fun place to be here. It also has things in it that can kill you. The sea water is not safe to swim in without a stinger suit from November(ish) until May(ish) due to Box & Irukandji jelly fish (if you feel like making yourself scared, google is at your disposal). Similarly, please only swim between the flags on the beach when life guard is on patrol. This is because of they patrol for crocodiles that sometimes come to say hi on the beaches.

1. Please use sunscreen. The sun is no joke here and I can assure you no one feels like going to your funeral courtesy of a melanoma. You'll find sunscreen in your bathroom and in the basket to the right of the couch.

2. Fire extinguishers - We live in Australia in a wooden house. Enough said, right? There are 2 sets of fire extinguishers and fire blankets in this house. There is one set out by the pool and one in the kitchen cupboard to the right stove.

wildlife

There are some crazy cool living things up here - you'll see tree frogs around the pool, kangaroos in our front garden at dusk and more geckos than you can count. Up here though, you never know what might be poisonous. As much as we love our jobs, we'd rather not spend any more time at the hospital. Please keep yourself safe and admire from a distance with your eyeballs. You'll find safe suggestions to interact with wildlife in this section.

Our cats

This is the exception to the "don't touch" rule. We have two little sweet girls, Molly (left) and Luna (right). They're very shy, gentle, loving cats.

They are strictly indoors so please ensure you close doors behind you and only leave windows open if they have a fly screen behind them.

If you have an allergy, let us know and we can provide medications to minimise sniffling and itching. .
